Hermanus Whale Experience

Overview

This is a PRIVATE, LAND-BASED Hermanus experience from Cape Town during whale season.

The experience focuses on private transport, a local Cape Town guide, the scenic Overberg journey, Hermanus sightseeing, the Hermanus coastline, land-based whale viewing during whale season, a flexible private itinerary, and family-friendly Muslim-friendly service.

IMPORTANT: This is NOT a whale-watching boat tour. KhayrCape does NOT operate a whale-watching boat. The boat is NOT included in the tour or checkout.

Itinerary

1. Private Cape Town Pickup

   Private pickup from your selected Cape Town location — hotel, Airbnb, or preferred address.

   Timing: 15–30 min

2. Scenic Overberg Journey

   Travel from Cape Town toward Hermanus with a local Cape Town guide along the scenic Overberg route.

   Timing: 1.5–2 hrs

3. Hermanus

   Explore selected Hermanus locations depending on timing, weather and guest preferences — Cliff Path, Gearing's Point, Old Harbour, waterfront and scenic coastal viewpoints.

   Timing: Flexible

4. Whale-Season Viewing

   During whale season, look for Southern Right Whales and other marine wildlife from suitable land-based viewpoints. Sightings cannot be guaranteed.

   Timing: Flexible

5. Flexible Private Stops

   Coffee, lunch stop (not included), shopping, photography and sightseeing as preferred. Halal-friendly options available on request.

   Timing: Flexible

6. Return to Cape Town

   Private return to your original or preferred drop-off location.

   Timing: 1.5–2 hrs
